About BLS
Business and Law School (BLS) is a project and a trading name of Business & Law School (pvt) Limited, a company registered with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.
We provide legal and business education in compliance with the international standards. We also take pride in having a faculty of eminent and learned economists, accountants, businessmen, entrepreneur, lawyers, judges and academics with experiences in different jurisdictions around the world.
Moreover, we are a centre for intellectually demanding, research-informed legal and business education. At BLS we have employed multifarious modes of learning to facilitate the learning experience of our students and also to enhance their interest in their chosen profession. Furthermore, through intensive career counselling and networking events we provide our students the tools to excel in their careers. We aim to produce accomplished, well-rounded, enquiring graduates with a rich, and ethically grounded appreciation of law and business in society.
The combination of business and law gives students an excellent grounding for careers in business, financial services and the legal profession, as well as the public and voluntary sectors. This reflects the global, dynamic climate of contemporary business and management. Lawyers practicing in business-related areas – corporate law, real estate, tax, business litigation, areas of government regulation, and aspects of non-profit representation – need to acquire skills in three areas: basic analytics (accounting, finance, and economics), an appreciation of transactions, and relevant fields of law.The BLS provides workshops, short courses and degrees to facilitate students with skills needed in the competitive job market
Vision
We believe that lawyering is far more than just resolving disputes. A complete lawyer explores the full spectrum of the profession i.e. guiding, advising, anticipating challenges, and finding creative ways to prevent conflicts before they arise. Our vision is that the future lawyers should have the ability not only to resolve disputes but also to foresee, prevent, and navigate them thoughtfully, serving society with insight, integrity, and skill.
Mission
Our mission is to equip future lawyers with the knowledge, skills, and ethical grounding to practice law comprehensively. We focus on developing their ability to anticipate, prevent, and resolve disputes through sound consultation, practical advising, negotiation, and advocacy. By combining rigorous legal education with real-world application, we aim to produce lawyers who serve society responsibly, innovatively, and with integrity.
