Learning Outcomes
1. Subject knowledge

Students will be able to:
- Identify the legal issues arising from particular factual situations.
- Apply knowledge so as to provide practical and reasoned advice and solutions to particular problems over a wide range of legal areas.

Students will be able to:
- Identify and use primary and secondary legal sources relevant to the topic under study.
- Identify contemporary debates and engage with these whilst accurately documenting the law in the area.
4.?Analysis, evaluation, critical judgement and synthesis
Students will be able to:
- Identify issues in terms of policy and doctrinal importance.
- Produce clear doctrinal synthesis and summary of policy issues.
- Evaluate law both independently in terms of doctrinal coherence and in relation to other policy perspectives which have been incorporated in the topics studied.
- Create new or imaginative ways of approaching a problem or analysing material in different ways.
Entrance Requirements
In order to be registered for the LLB (Hons) degree, a student should normally be at least 17 years or above by 30th November in the year of registration and satisfy the following requirements:
1. Either passes in:
a) two subjects at GCE ?A? Level + at least three further subjects at GCSE or GCE ?O? Level (at or with not less than grade ?C?).
OR
b) three subjects at GCE ?A? Level + one further subject at GCSE or GCE?O? Level (at or with not less than grade ?C?).
OR
c) two subjects at GCE ?A? Level + two further subjects at ?AS? Level + one further subject at GCSE or GCE ?O? Level (at or with not less than grade ?C?).
OR
d) Four subjects at A levels (minimum grade D).
2.?Have attained minimum grade ?C? in English Language in ?O? Level or equivalent.
3.?BA/BSc/BCom in Upper Second division. The admission is open to graduates of the University of the Punjab or (subject to the Syndicate?s approval) of any other recognized university.
4.?Foreign students should route their applications for admission through the Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad.
5.?Students holding High School Diplomas/Degrees of other institutions should contact the Registrar.
Structure Of LLB
Standard entry route: This structure enables A-Level graduates or those who have completed graduation/BA with a degree awarded by an institution acceptable to the University. 12 courses are taken in 3 stages/years.
Graduate entry route: This structure enables graduates with a bachelors degree awarded by an institution acceptable to the University, to follow a shorter route. 9 courses are taken in 2 stages/years.

The application fee is payable when you make your application. The closing date for applications for the November intake is 1st?of October. For the May intake, it is 1st?of April.
