Mehr Bano Langrial
Mehr Bano Langrial is an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan and holds an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of London. She completed her LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley, where she specialised in Public Law & Regulation as well as Business Law. She was also named in the Dean’s Honour List and received the award for Best Memorandum LL.M. Legal Research and Writing
She is a senior Associate at a law firm based in Lahore with over four years of transactional as well as litigation experience. Ms. Langrial has successfully argued cases before the Civil Courts, District Courts, Lahore High Court as well as various regulatory authorities such as the Intellectual Property Office, the Competition Commission of Pakistan and the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan.
She specialises in constitutional, administrative and civil matters and undertakes non-contentious corporate, commercial, transactional and advisory work ranging from complex corporate structuring, start-ups, executing shareholder and share-purchase agreements and inducting equity investments, corporate compliance, labour and employment law matters, mergers & acquisitions, project finance and joint ventures. She also regularly works with and advises foreign investors and international clients on municipal anti-trust and securities laws.
Ms. Langrial has a keen interest in international business transactions, comparative constitutional law and public international law.
