Simon Horton
Simon Horton holds a BSc degree as well as an MA from SOAS, UK.
He is a trainer of Negotiation Skills and has taught hostage negotiators, top banks, law firms and various blue-chip global players. Some of the clients he has taught include: Slaughter and May, Latham and Watkins, Farrers, Lloyds of London, ABN AMRO, Credit Agricole, CapGemini, Accenture, Glaxo Smith Kline, Roche Pharmaceutical, Daily Telegraph, Panasonic, and others.
Before his training and coaching career, he spent twelve years as a consultant to the financial services sector. Among other things, he has also designed a derivatives trading system used by a majority of asset management companies, including Legal & General Investment Management, Henderson Investors and County NatWest.
He is also a visiting lecturer at Imperial College and the Royal College of Arts.
His second book, ‘The Leader’s Guide to Negotiation’ was published in April 2016 by The Financial Times.
